The park protects a vast, heavily covered with rushes and marshy valley of the Narew River, which is dividing for number of trays here. Narew National Park covers the areas of swamp, so it’s best to travel it by kayak or on boat trips “pychówki”. We also recommend natural walking bridges. The park is home to many endangered species of birds like eagles and fighter battalion. You can also find here ermine and polecat. Many riverbeds flowing river Narew and its tributaries particularly Awissa and Strugi on the section Suraż – Rzendziany creates unique landscapes called “Polish Amazon”.
