Location: borderland of voivodeship – West Pomerania, Lubusz and Greater Poland.
Forests in the Park cover 83% of the surface. The main rivers are Drava and Płociczna. There is 20 lakes, including the unique in the country, the Black Lake. The largest lake is Ostrowiec. The park has 13 areas of strict protection.
Birds – 130 species of nesting:
White-tailed eagle, osprey, lesser spotted eagle, eagle owl, common goldeneye, merganser merganser, wagtail, dipper, kingfisher, corncrake, gray heron, black stork.
Mammals – 50 species:
European deer, roe deer, beaver, otter – a symbol of DPN, wild boar, raccoon dog, raccoon, American mink, wolf, bat.
