Park characterize wetlands with the length of over 100km surrounded with thousands of Biebrza river meanders and oxbow lakes – the largest swamp area in Poland. Variety of plants birds and mammals: Whooper swan, widgeon, battalion, woodpecker, common tern, black stork, lesser spotted eagle, spotted eagle, eagle owl, bald eagle, great snipe. Is an area of research ornithologists from around the world. There are also moose and wolf refuge.
